PROCEDURE
The ear cartilage is reshaped and set back through an incision hidden behind the ear.
ANAESTHESIA & DURATION
Local anaesthesia · typically 1–2 hours
RECOVERY
Head bandage for about a week, then a headband day and night for two weeks and at night for two more. Most return to work within 1–2 weeks.
FINAL RESULT
Ears settle into their new position over 3–6 months.
Post-op photos were taken during early recovery, before swelling has settled. The final result develops over the months that follow.
