Shared with written patient consent. Individual results vary.

CONCERN ADDRESSED

A small or recessed chin that leaves the profile, and often the nose, out of balance.

PROCEDURE

A shaped silicone implant is placed over the chin bone through a small incision. It is often combined with rhinoplasty for overall profile balance.

ANAESTHESIA & DURATION

Local anaesthesia · typically about 1 hour

RECOVERY

Swelling peaks at 2–3 days and is mostly gone by 2–3 weeks. Soft diet in the first days; normal diet by week 2.

FINAL RESULT

New contour clearly visible by about 6 weeks; the implant settles fully over 3–6 months.

Post-op photos were taken during early recovery, before swelling has settled. The final result develops over the months that follow.
